Our seven Days six Nights Best of Kenya Safari travels to Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli National Park. If you have a short amount of time, the Best of Kenya is ideal! This safari explores the true gems of East Africa. Go on exciting game drives, game walks, and visit an authentic Masai village.
08:30 hrs: You will be picked from your Nairobi hotel and drive for the journey to the Masai Mara. Drive through the agriculturally rich central highlands of Kenya with stopover at the escarpment to view the magnificent East African Great Rift Valley. Descend to the floor of the escarpment to continue on to the Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing in search for animals till sunset back to the camp for Dinner and overnight.
Whole day spent at Masai Mara exploring the vastness of this wildlife haven Lions, Cheetahs, Elephants, Buffalos, Zebras dominates the scene while Antelopes, Warthogs, Wildebeests form formidable numbers. Masai Mara has the highest concentration of wildlife per square kilometer than any other park in the region. An optional local Masai Village visit can be arranged. All meals and overnight at the camp.
Pre morning game drive up to around 0930hrs, Afterwards depart for Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch. An afternoon optional boat ride to the crescent Island where you will have a guided walk in crescent Island. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National park which hosts the largest concentration of Flamingoes which canopy the edge of this alkaline Rift Valley Lake. The park also hosts Lions, Leopard, Giraffe, and Warthog etc. There is a Rhino sanctuary and thus Rhino sightings are very high. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast depart for Amboseli via Nairobi for lunch arriving in the wevening if time permits evening game drive. Some of the species of Amboseli includes Elephants, Lions, Cheetah, Giraffe among many other plain game animals. Amboseli lies at the floors of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive. Return to the campsite for breakfast. After breakfast, a further game drive where plains game including Zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and various antelopes can be seen. You will have lunch and leisure break at the camp then end with an evening game drive, looking out for the peak of Kilimanjaro which may be seen in clear weather from the observation hill. Large herds of elephant and hippo can be seen bathing swamp grounds whose water source is Mt. Kilimanjaro. All meals and overnight at the camp.
Early morning pre-breakfast game drive. After a late breakfast, depart Amboseli for Nairobi with lunch enroute, arriving in the evening. Drop off at your hotel.
